The Royal Oak's history goes back over 400 years. It has been used as a jail and the original jail door is still in use. The pub has survived many things including a fire in the 1950s. Recently the barn has been refurbished and is now a beautiful function room.

The Royal Oak is a family-run pub, offering the personal and homely touch, including Benson the family springer spaniel, who would like to meet new friends and old. There are vast gardens and ample parking . . . . a biker's delight!, with Silverstone just 10-15 minutes away (depending on how you ride) In short we welcome all.

The new owners, David and Angelique Elliott would like to offer everyone a very warm welcome. Come and try one of the real ales we have on offer at any one time or try some of our traditional home cooked food. we are not a resturant, but you will walk away full and content.

Well, hopefully no more. As part of our on-going improvements to the service we can give you, we have teamed up with people who can supply us and you with everything you could need for that special day, from table decorations right through to that special wedding dress and the dream car to carry you like the prince and princess that you want to be like on the day.
